Sheila talks about growing up during the war, her love of cycling as a young girl and beginning work at the Ministry of Defence after she married. Her work friend Jean introduced her to the work of Leonard Cheshire and she began to volunteer. She talks about the various things she has done, including gardening and the impact that volunteering has had on her.
