In November, the Leonard Cheshire Archive hosted a live webinar to remember the life and legacy of Second World War RAF Group Captain and humanitarian Group Captain Lord Leonard Cheshire VC OM. Archivist Stephanie Nield was joined by Leonard Cheshire’s biographer Professor Richard Morris OBE   to discuss Group Captain Cheshire’s life, work and legacy, and to play a newly discovered sound clip from the archives of him talking about the meaning of Remembrance Day.

The webinar was well attended on Zoom and is now available as a captioned YouTube film on our YouTube channel, which can be watched below. Our thanks go to Resonate project funders the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Foyle Foundation for enabling this webinar to happen.
